Subject: white houses
you know, I always end up starting homework at around 5:00 pm because of what I call "activity work," like for csf project lit and fbla. you'd think that these little things would take a few seconds to complete (ie. calling businesses to confirm tours, arranging books), but they do add up. and now that environmental is going to start recycling/elementary presentations/whatnot I shall have even less time to do homework. huh blah.

I really like the song white houses, even though it was released a while ago. and the title is white houses because I am listening to it right now. other than that, it's not really super significant or anything.

so it has been a full grading period and then some, and my classes are looking pretty tough:
1) world lit-evard. you may ask, "why is world lit a tough class?" well that's because I have a tough teacher, evard. I think only about a fifth of the class has A's and I only have one because I overanalyze everything anyway so scrutinizing every teeny tiny detail in LOTF isn't that bad for me. but I've come to extremely dislike (refraining from using hate) those reading quizes on every chapter.
2) pe aux-dario/fey. sometimes during this class I wish I could leave and do homework and actually something productive. to tell you the truth, I do like color guard. I really like rifle. however, the people in color guard make it really bad. I'm serious, I don't even like half of them (I'm only friends with really a few, like connie, olga, cindy, etc...), and here I'll be pretty blunt. okay dario just because your life revolves around a cheap piece of plastic doesn't mean that everyone else hold color guard in the same regard as you. NO ME GUSTA. why are we always going at the same slow pace as the freshmen? we should be progressing forward, not having to double as teachers. that's your job, come up with a better way to spend practices, because in the words of Katherine, "quite frankly, this is a waste of my time."
3) community leadership-DEAL <3<3. what a difference! I LOVE this class! except for one person sometimes but she has anal issues. anyways, I'm always surprised by little things. take today for example:
alex: okay so we need to figure out a way to do recycling for each room. hmm... -stares intently at paper-...
swati: well we don't have sevenths, so...
me: oh really? wow i never knew that! (irene: where were you alice?!?!)
alex: yeah we learn something new from you everyday, swati. like how you're hip hop kru officer.
me: hahahahaha O RLY?
swati: I'm president -affronted tone-
yeah see we also get relatively off topic. I'm also lillian's tail. yay! that sounds kind of gross but it just means I follow her around because lillian= :)
4) chem h-gupta. gupta is hard and really picky. chem is probably one of my hardest classes.
5) precalc h-mccarty. well it's right next to chem. plus I like mccarty, even though she doesn't teach some parts of the chapter cause she assumes we know it so we get SO CONFUSED. but I go to her office hours a lot and talk to her there. I like her son. he is soo cute! he came to school one day and talked the whole period.
6) world history-laurel. lions lions lions. anyways... laurel is kind of a funny teacher. I borrowed his economy book and don't really plan to read it haha. but he used to be a physcology teacher and I really like that kind of subject.
7) spanish 3-autran. HAHAHA today she gave us a talk about not farting in class. HAHAHA and then the oral question was like. "I have dirty hands. Where do I go?" a) to the toilet. LMAO. it was really b, to the bathroom, but that was so funny. and I stay after class for horas oficinas and help her with the classroom and stuff. yayy!
